Price: Mileage: Transmission: Fuel: Reg Date: Client: COSIS Challenge: Our challenge was to develop a SaaS solution for communities large and small that could run on a single code base. This solution must allow individual sites. Each site needs to manage its own membership, permissions, look & feels and plug-in applications to make it unique and successful. Solution: The COSIS solution runs on the leading .net CMS called Dotnetnuke. Early on in the discovery process the DNN framework was the logical choice to build the SaaS on top of; it handles each of the challenges above natively.
From that strong base CMS the COSIS solution added and maintains a best-of-breed approach of internal and external web applications and services to add value to the communities it serves.
Photo Galleries, Article Management, Job Postings, Membership and Business Directories are built-in to the solution.
Synchronization to leading on-line service providers like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,Constant Contact, Google Apps, Basecamp, Zoho and others provides streamlined integration for the community into industry leading providers from a single hub. Price: Mileage: Transmission: Fuel: Reg Date: Client: A research company Challenge: Deliver an audience with very specific demographic, political, and historical details to a place at a specific time. Create a solution that will be able to tailor the invitations, confirmation and passes of these participants into very specific audience profile targets.
Measure in real-time the progress and percentages of the current audience and automate as much a possible the steering of the confirmation into the targeted profiles. Solution: The solution needed a flexible user profile management framework, a scheduled events processor, and a robust back-end designed to scale rapidly.
Again we turned to the leading .net CMS solution DNN. In this case the challenge was design a user interface around how to build a very complex rule set for building groups of people.
For example : Audience of 1200, 30% are 20-25 males of any ethnicity
that have 1 or more years of college, that have participated in events x,y,z, 50% are 25-30 males with any education that meet the event criteria, and the remaining 20% are any gender that are simply between 20-30 yeas
of age.
Fuzzy logic is the term that came up in dialog a lot.
But behind all the fuzz a 'real' rule-set was needed to tailor the crowd effectively.
It is this 'event attendee selection process' that makes up the core logic of the solutions success. It is also a key reason that the client requests to remain unnamed and the solution fundamentals remain undisclosed.
